Arts and Science Academic Advising will be unavailable on Tuesday, January 15th for Program Planning Guide and Grad Check completion.

Document pick-up and drop-off will still be available from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Library's Sunday Hours Change

Starting Sunday, January 13, 2019, the University Library’s regular Sunday hours will shift to noon to 8 p.m. from the previous 1 to 9 p.m.

Extended Sunday hours (starting March 31, 2019) will remain 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Condolence Notice — Jesara Nichol

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and coworkers of Jesara Nichol (BA ’17), who passed away suddenly due to complications from pneumonia on Monday, Dec. 17 at the age of 24.

Nichol was employed as a Residence Life and Education Coordinator in Housing Services. When she moved from Calgary to attend the U of L, she became a residence assistant, working on a casual basis as a student from September 2013 to May 2017. She joined the staff on a full-time basis starting in August 2017.

Tunnel repairs nearly complete

The long-awaited opening of the University’s pedestrian tunnel, rotunda and south plaza hallway is tentatively scheduled for January 4, 2019.

Testing Affecting University Hall Emergency Power

Testing of the Science & Academic Building elevators is scheduled to occur between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on December 18 and 19. This testing will use the University’s emergency generator power and, as a result, will affect the emergency power in University Hall. Normal building power will not be affected.
