There is a geotechnical investigation starting around the perimeter of University Hall on Thursday, July 3 and will continue through to approximately Wednesday, July 30. A large truck/drill rig will be working at various locations around the building, starting in Parking Lot J and continuing on to five other locations.
The 18th Annual Chinook Symposium for Chemistry and Biochemistry will be held on Sept. 19, in the Science Commons Atrium (seventh floor). Hosted by the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, the mandate of the symposium and associated poster and oral presentation prizes is to recognize undergraduate and graduate students performing original research in chemistry and biochemistry. Highlights include poster presentations from students at all levels (high school, undergraduate, MSc, PhD, postdoc), oral presentations and judges from the ULethbridge community.

ASBESTOS REMOVAL-UNIVERSITY CENTRE FOR THE ARTS W526
Please be advised between June 26 to June 27, contractors will be performing asbestos removal in the W526 room. A containment will be set up at this location. There will be no admittance into W526 during this time. This work is being completed to accommodate renovations for the new UCA 5 Washroom Renovation.
To ensure the safety and well-being of our volunteers, we would like to remind all departments to complete a Volunteer Application Form and Agreement and accurately report volunteer hours for university organized events.
