How have writers used literary forms to tell feminist stories or imagine feminist futures? In this class, we will read various stories of adventurous and resilient women and gender-diverse characters.

The Marlowe seminar will explore the work of (arguably) the second most significant playwright in the language.

This course offers students an overview of some of the major theoretical questions of Marxist critical theory. No prior knowledge is assumed. Open to students from all disciplines who possess third-year standing.

This course will introduce students to British literary historyfrom 1660 to 1800, and the genres and authors associatedwith the restoration, satirical, sentimental and early romantic
