Questioning the war on drugs

Drug use is always a hot-button issue and one that garners great debate, especially when it comes to the perceived war on drugs.

Friday afternoon in the University of Lethbridge Library, speakers Dennis Young and Keith Fagin will discuss the war on drugs and ask whether this war is actually causing more harm than good.

Young is the leader of the Libertarian Party of Canada while Fagin is the director of the Alberta 420 Cannabis Community. They ask, "Should 'victimless crimes' really be considered crimes at all?"

Questions like these and more will be explored in this free lecture, 2 p.m. in L1050.
