Office Closure

Student Affairs (Student Enrolment and Registrar Services, Scholarships and Student Finance, Counselling Services, Health Centre, Accessible Learning Centre, Career Bridge, Student Success Centre, and the Vice Provost Students Office) will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, from 1- 4:30 p.m. for an annual staff event. The Accommodated Learning Exam Centre will remain open during this time. All offices will resume regular working hours on Thursday, Dec. 4.

Measles exposure — Spring 2025 Convocation

Alberta Health Services has informed the University that a person who participated in the Friday, May 30, Spring 2025 Convocation Ceremony III (morning ceremony), was ill with measles. Everyone who attended the morning ceremony should consider themselves exposed to the measles virus.

Please read the following information on measles, provided by Alberta Health Services, and inform family and friends who may have attended Ceremony III of the situation.

Thank you for doing your part in reducing the spread of measles in our community.

Trauma Informed Yoga

Trauma informed yoga is an evidence-based approach that prioritizes the lived experience and healing journey of each participant.

Classes will include a gentle yoga flow that emphasizes choice, trust and consent. Each session will also incorporate mindfulness meditation, focused on gaining coping skills and building resilience. No yoga experience is required.

This approach can be helpful to anyone looking for an increased sense of empowerment and safety, while strengthening the connection between mind and body.
