Renoir’s anti-war masterpiece. A French captain in World War I and his mechanic are shot down and captured. What follows is an examination of class differences, friendship, love between enemies, and a series of mostly failed escape plans. In French with English subtitles.

In 1980s El Salvador, young Chava tries to piece together a normal life in a world that is being destroyed around him by civil war. Based on the true story of a child soldier. In Spanish with English subtitles.

Fall 2016 Psychology End-of-Semester Film Presentation

Honduran teenager Sayra is reunited with her father, and with him sets out to escape to America. But their encounter with a young Mexican gang member on the run changes the course of events. (Mexico-U.S.A.. In Spanish with English subtitles)

This film is about the French Vichy government’s round-up and deportation of 13,000 Jews in July of 1942, and is based on true events. It follows the internment, and unlikely escape of two young boys.

Written and directed by Rose Bosch, it won “Best Narrative” at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival in 2011.
