Dear Faculty and Staff,

As we come to the close of the second day of an alternative delivery model for instruction at the University of Lethbridge, I want to express my gratitude to our campus community for their collective effort in making this transition work. These are extraordinary circumstances and I am proud that our institution is rising to the challenge presented to us by the COVID-19 situation.

I am pleased to offer the following updates.

Emergency Operations Centre (EOC)

NOTE: These workshops will not be held in L950 as originally planned, but online via Zoom.

EndNote is a citation management software that can help you manage, organize and use your research literature. It integrates with Microsoft Word (and selected other word processing software) so that you can "cite-while-you-write" using your choice of citation styles. EndNote is available for both Windows and Mac computers. We will be using the latest version in the Windows/PC environment with Microsoft Word.

Campus Housing is encouraging students to leave residence and return home where possible.

As of 5 p.m. on March 17, 2020, the University Library is closed until further notice. The situation is ever evolving and updates will be provided in as timely a manner as possible.

Access to Resources

·         All physical collections (e.g., equipment, print books, media, etc.) are unavailable until further notice.

All employees not required to work on campus are required to work remotely.

Currently and for the foreseeable future, individuals must suspend face-to-face research

Beginning on Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2020, designated on-campus Wi-Fi spaces will be available for students in Anderson Hall, specifically AH147, AH118, AH117, AH176, AH116.

We will not put our students and community at risk, and we will follow the guidelines of accredited health professionals and professional bodies
