Library Games Night | October 21

The University Library and G.E.E.K. Club are hosting Library Games Night and you’re invited.

Students, challenge your professors; professors, challenge your students—everyone is welcome to join us for game-playing of all kinds!

WHEN: Friday, October 21; 5 to 9 p.m. [after hours event]

WHERE: Library Level 10 (The Alcove)

Bring your own (non-alcoholic) beverages and snacks!

Library Headcounts | October 16 to 22

From Sunday, October 16 to Saturday, October 22, student assistants (you may see them with clipboards) will be performing headcounts in the Library. The counts are to determine how many people are in the Library spaces and computer resources in use during the designated count times. No other information is being collected.

Craft n' Chill: Sculpting | October 20

Come and join us for our Project Sandbox Craft n' Chill sculpting event. During this event, you will be able to hang out with other members from the University community and create a sculpture! If sculpting isn't your thing, fear not, you can work on any other (easily cleanable) project you would like to bring. If you would rather just chat, that is okay too.

Library's Thanksgiving Weekend Hours | October 8–10

The Library’s hours of operation during the Thanksgiving weekend are as follows:

  • Saturday, Oct. 8: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 9: 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 10: CLOSED

The Library’s 24-hour study space will be available during the unstaffed hours of operation.
