Condolence Notice — Dr. Bhagwan Dua

The University of Lethbridge extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Bhagwan Dua, who recently passed away in Hawaii.

Dean and Professor Emeritus Dua joined the U of L as a professor of political science after finishing his doctoral degree at the University of Alberta. Dr. Peter McCormick, professor emeritus, was Chair of the department at the time.

Beverly Little Bear, a Kainai Elder and author, presents about the historical and current roles of women within the Blackfoot paradigm. Little Bear is one of the Blackfoot peoples most knowledgeable living female Elders.

This is a free event, but seating is limited.

Condolence Notice — Robert Shore

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Robert Shore, who passed away Jan. 3 at the age of 88.

Shore enjoyed a 20-year career at the U of L, working as superintendent of buildings from 1969 to 1989.
