Registrar’s Office Announcement - Hours of Service Change

Effective Thursday, Sept. 12, the Registrar’s Office in-person hours of service are:

Monday – Thursday: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday — 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

In the future, we will extend in-person hours starting the first day of classes up to the add/drop deadline each term. The extended hours are:

Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.; 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Social Justice Symposium - School of Liberal Education

The third annual Social Justice Symposium will take place on Friday, Sept. 20 (12 to 4:30 p.m.) in the SU Ballrooms.  Jackson Leween 2Bears (Faculty of Fine Arts) will start things off, followed by four short presentations from faculty members across campus. Along with group discussions on various topics, booths from a variety of campus and community organizations that actively address social justice issues will be available.

PROJECT SANDBOX: Cardboard Robot Jousting, September 19

Attendees will create a robot out of cardboard which will then be used to joust against other cardboard robots. In addition to jousting, robots will also be given a chance to race against one another. This event is attended on a drop-in basis.

DATE/TIME: Thursday, Sept. 19: 1 to 4 p.m.

LOCATION: Across from the Library Services Desk (Level 10 Central; The Alcove)
