Library Hours Update: December 18 & 19

To align with the formal final exam period (December 12 to 20), the Library’s hours have been updated. The Library will now be open the additional times:

  • Sunday, December 18: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, December 19: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Library’s 24-hour study space will be available throughout the exam period.

Intersession hours will begin on Tuesday, December 20.

Condolence Notice — Peter Horner

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends, professors and fellow students of Peter Horner, who passed away on Nov. 20 at the age of 19.

Horner was in the early stages of his post-secondary career. He was in his second year of studies as an undergraduate student in the Dhillon School of Business, with a major in marketing.

Silent Vigil: National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women

December 6 is the 33rd Anniversary of the l’École Polytechnique massacre and is the National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women.

Visit the Women’s Peace Garden on level 10 south of the University Library throughout the day for a come-and-go silent vigil to remember those who have been impacted by gender-based violence. Seating will be provided for those wanting to sit in silent contemplation.
