CIRP 2989/5989 Information:

The Career Bridge Centre is excited to offer a new course, CIRP 2989/5989: Career Core, an innovative work-integrated learning (WIL) course designed to equip students with the tools they need to thrive in their academic, professional and personal journeys.

In this course, students will engage in self-discovery and gain the skills to engage in the career development cycle, recognize and articulate their strengths, and leverage experiential learning to enhance their career readiness. By applying the Career Core competencies framework and exploring resources like the MyExperience transcript, students will prepare themselves for success in an ever-evolving professional landscape.

  • Skill Building: Recognize, articulate and build on your skillset.
  • Work-Integrated Learning Focus: Leverage experiential learning theory and tools, while engaging in 20 hours of volunteer work experience during the semester.
