The University-Industry Liaison Office is pleased to present the Entreinvestor Training Program, an innovative training program for entrepreneurs with a developed idea who want to gain the confidence to strategically engage investors to raise capital to sustain funding for an idea, product or company.
Funded in partnership with Alberta Innovates and the Regional Innovation Network of Southern Alberta, this introduction to the investor ecosystem is designed for budding entrepreneurs that have recently graduated (within the last five years) or are soon-to-be graduated. Using a combination of in-class and experiential learning, participants will gain knowledge regarding how investors strategically engage with an early-stage company, and gain insight into their due-diligence process.
The Entreinvestor Program will be capped off with a prominent keynote speaker from the investor world, a panel of seasoned vets, and an award ceremony with more than $1000 in prizes for the best investment portfolio. The 8-week program runs on Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm at the University, with dates from February until late April.
