Did you know that Canoe and Kayak is a sport? That's right! In addition to being a fun recreational activity for a sunny afternoon, it's also an Olympic sport! Not ready for the Olympics just yet but want to give it a try? This event is for you!  The Lethbridge Sport Council has partnered with the High Level Canoe and Kayak to host a free event where indigenous youth ages 12 -17 can come out and learn the basics of canoe, kayak, and stand up paddleboard from skilled coaches.  Lethbridge Sport Council and High Level Canoe and Kayak staff will be on hand to chat with parents, answer any questions participants may have about the sport, and to discuss the fee assistance programs available. This is a family event so parents or caregivers are required to stay for the duration of the event.
