Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, biotechnology and advanced sensing increasingly cross the boundaries between science, business, national security and public policy. They can create new opportunities while also introducing unexpected risks and challenges

This talk introduces a new way to think about these technologies as they emerge—looking beyond simply civilian or military uses to consider their potential for beneficial, harmful, legitimate and illegitimate uses. Lecture followed by a panel discussion: “A Career in Quantum”.
