The Teaching Centre is accepting applications for the Fall Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Grant program.
These grants provide seed funding to support research that advances teaching and learning, helping faculty explore new teaching practices, assess the impact, and share their findings with colleagues across the university.
Funding opportunities:
Flicker Grant: Up to $1,500 for individual researchers to support research design, ethics approval, data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
Ember Grant: Up to $5,000 for collaborative research projects examining teaching and learning across various courses or disciplines.
Through SoTL research, faculty can:
• Enhance student learning and engagement
• Investigate the effectiveness of teaching practices using evidence-based approaches in the classroom
• Contribute to institutional knowledge and strengthen teaching and learning across the University of Lethbridge
