Building Better 1000-Level Course Outlines

Sheila McManus (History) and Aaron Stout (Education) have spent the past year hosting a community of practice to support great teaching in first-year classes. They know that enhancing learning and engagement starts with your course outline.

Join Teaching Fellows Sheila and Aaron for a drop-in workshop focused on designing and refining effective 1000-level course outlines. Learn how to incorporate more student-friendly language, increase engagement, and refine assignments to better support learning.

All new and experienced academic staff are welcome! Drop-in anytime during the session to workshop your outline. The Teaching Centre will provide coffee and snacks for those who register on MyExperience.
