Adrian Cooke's exhibition, Wood Works, is on view at the Gallery at Casa until March 25.
Adrian Cooke is an artist/sculptor with a record of both solo and group exhibitions across Canada. After graduating with honours from the Alberta College of Art in Calgary, he pursued post-diploma studies at the New York Studio School in New York City and earned his BFA from the Alberta College of Art and Design.
Adrian has been a juror and member of various arts organizations. Canada Council Grants provided him with the opportunity to travel abroad where he made work in the historical atmosphere of England and Italy, and furthered his interest in architecture and design.
Among the institutions that include his work in their collections are: City of St. Laurent, Quebec; Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt, Toronto; Concordia University, Montreal; The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia; Halifax; the Canada Council Art Bank; The Glenbow Museum, Calgary; the Art Gallery of Alberta, Edmonton; and the University of Lethbridge.
Adrian continues to live and work in Lethbridge, Alberta, pursuing opportunities related to his artistic pursuits.
