Currently, as a graduate student of art at the University of Lethbridge, his research explores the potential of sculpture to engage and reimagine common architectural form like stairs and windows to question perception, memory and history.
Lorne Power (he/him) studied photography at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design from 2015-2018. His first solo exhibition, Convenience, was held at a corner store in December 2018. In July 2018, he collaborated with his partner, dance artist Sarah Power, in the performance, No Flies on You, as part of the public art festival, Third Shift. In September 2019, his second solo show, Not After Last Night, was held at Jones Gallery in Saint John. Lorne started his MFA at the University of Lethbridge in 2020, and it continues to this day.
