Taste of Bronze: Lost Wax Method

Experience the art of lost wax bronze casting using the modern casting facilities in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lethbridge. In this very hands-on course take your ideas from wax to bronze and experience all stages in the casting process.
Students will bring and/or develop a small artwork in wax (to be cast in wax) and then will take these waxes all the way through the lost-wax casting process. They will finish with a patinated, cast bronze piece to take home.
No previous casting experience is required. Minimum age is 18 years old.

- Friday, March 24 | 6 - 9 pm
- Friday, March 31 | 6 - 9 pm
- Saturday, April 1 | 9 am - 5 pm
- Sunday, April 2 | 9 am - noon
