Talking About Teaching - Positionality in Teaching and Research: Who are you and why does it matter?

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

Please join Drs Tara Million and David Kootnikoff as they discuss their experiences in the classroom with how positionality assignments have worked to reduce conflict, bullying, and stereotypes through encouraging critical thinking, self-reflection, transparency, and community-building. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to start drafting your own positionality statement and share ideas for how to incorporate positionality assignments into your teaching.

Academic staff, staff, and graduate students welcome!
