Quantum technology and quantum computers promise futuristic tools for efficient functioning of education, businesses, cyber-world, medicine, engineering and various facets of modern living. What is Quantum? To understand this, Lunch and Learn workshops will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and Thursday, Oct. 9 at Tecconnect in Lethbridge. Learn about the science of atoms and molecules and how we code and compute using them. We also celebrate 2025 as the international year of quantum science and technology with this event.
Dr. Arundhati Dasgupta, a ULethbridge physics professor, will explain quantum science and quantum coding in simple language at these Lunch and Learn workshops. Lunch is provided. Online access also available.
