This eclectic program takes the listener on a journey from 16th century choral music to 20th-century staples in the brass ensemble repertoire.

One,Two,Trio is a Vancouver-based brass trio comprised of members of the UBC School of Music community: Katherine Evans (Trumpet), Valerie Whitney (French Horn), and Jeremy Berkman (Trombone). Founded during the global pandemic to perform music outside for listeners safely distant, the ensemble is engaged in performances ranging from recorded educational concerts for the Chamber Music in the Schools program (CMITS), to recital series across the Lower Mainland, most recently as part of UBC’s Wednesday Noon Hour and Maple Ridge's ACT Theatre presents series. The members of the trio also perform with the recently formed Vancouver Brass Orchestra, a collective of leading brass players in the Vancouver music scene.
