Meijun is an active guest conductor of University of Alberta Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Summer Band, Symphony Orchestra, as well as community orchestras and choirs. She is selected as one of the ten Conducting Fellows of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music’s International Wind Festival and Conductor's Academy 2023, and will also be a Participant Conductor at the 2023 Northwestern University Conducting and Wind Symposium.

Meijun is also an award-winning clarinetist with 18 years of international wind ensemble and orchestra’s performances and competitions experiences in over 13 countries in Europe, Asia and North America. She was selected to play in the National Youth Band of Canada in 2018, won the 2019/20 University of Alberta Concerto Competition and held various Principal Clarinet positions. She is a frequent Guest Clarinetist with the Royal Canadian Artillery Band.

Meijun is passionate about music education and is an experienced conducting and clarinet clinician at various junior high schools, high schools and the Red Deer Royals Marching Show Band in Alberta.
