Meeting of the Minds is a multidisciplinary conference organized and hosted by the Graduate Students' Association. This year's online event will be an excellent way to see what our graduate researches are passionate about, connect with other researchers, and scope out interdisciplinary opportunities.
Presentations are geared towards a general audience and span all University Faculties and departments, from Health Sciences, to Fine Arts, Neuroscience, Biology, Chemistry, and Political Social and Cultural Thought, and more.
Zoom links and the full conference package will be emailed 1-2 days in advance, so be sure to check your emails and, potentially, your spam folder.
Three Minute Thesis (3MT) finals will also be taking place at this event. The 3MT Competition is an international research communication competition originating from the University of Queensland and is hosted by the School of Graduate Studies. This competition challenges students to present their research and consolidate their ideas into a 3 minute talk. The top 12 competitors from the qualifying heats will advance to the finals at the end of Meeting of the Minds. The winner will go on to represent the University of Lethbridge at the Western Regional Competition in May.
This event is free to attend.
