Dreams of Spring: A Concert of Classical Music to Ward off the Winter Cold

On Friday, February 15, the students and faculty from the University of Lethbridge Department of Music will present a special concert of classical music in the Theatre Gallery of the Lethbridge Public Library (Downtown Branch) beginning at 7:30 pm. Titled “Dreams of Spring,” the concert will present a selection of heart-warming Classical masterpieces to ward off the winter’s cold, including exquisite love songs by Clara and Robert Schumann, excerpts from J.S. Bach’s French Suite no. 4, Rossini’s exciting “La Danza,” songs by Debussy, moving piano works by Schubert and Rachmaninov and beautiful guitar solos. Please come and join us for an intimate evening of music making. Admission is free. The only thing you must leave at the door are your winter worries.
