The 2015 Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (2015 BCB) competition was launched by Genome Canada on October 29, 2015. The competition is in partnership with CIHR and will be looking for applications proposing new approaches to data analysis and data interpretation in the area of Omics sciences, including development of software tools and algorithms. Of particular interest will be proposals addressing challenges arising from handling and analysis of data emerging from new technologies.
This competition aims to provide a platform for collaboration among the Bioinformatics expertise in Canada as well as an opportunity for us to foster and strengthen a network of Alberta bioinformatics expertise. In preparation for this competition, we are reaching out to all key stakeholders in this area of expertise.
We would like to invite you to a Webinar on November 16, 2015 (1pm) hosted by Genome Alberta to provide more information on the 2015 BCB competition as well as showcase previous successful projects in this area.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
This webinar is free and open to all.
