Join us on Sept. 29 for a meaningful, hands-on Orange Shirt Day workshop focused on connection, kinship, and the relationships that help support wellness.
Participants will learn about the significance of Attachment Hearts and create their own heart using fabric and traditional medicine. The workshop offers an opportunity to reflect on the people, family, caregivers, and communities we are connected to, while learning about the role of traditional medicines in comfort, healing, and holistic wellness. Participants will be invited to create a heart that can be shared with someone special as a meaningful expression of connection and attachment.
The event is 12-2:30 p.m. in the Agility Centre (Science Commons SA6304).
