Have you ever wanted to watch the pitches on Dragon's Den in real time or even compete in a business competition yourself? Come see how it's done – watch your peers compete for prize winnings and learn about the up and coming business ideas in neuroscience!  

The competition requires participating students to pitch to an executive as they go head-to-head with their classmates. Participants will present ideas on potential businesses, innovative opportunities, and potential markets in neuroscience with an emphasis on pitch style, timing and personality. What's the incentive for competitors? First prize is $1,000, second prize is $500 and third and fourth prizes are $250 each. 

This competition is designed to strengthen neuroscience students’ communication skills by presenting their big idea to a potential investor as persuasively as possible. 

This event is free and open to all students and community members of the U of L. Come out in support of your fellow students and learn some important skills in the process. There will be an opportunity to network after the pitches. Refreshments provided.
