You are warmly invited to join us in the Agility Innovation Zone for our free summer workshops, open to all Academic Staff and Graduate Teaching Assistants.
These workshops are designed to give you confidence and experience in the use of our most popular equipment. You will create and iterate a project in a fun and collaborative environment where failure is embraced as an important step in the process of learning new skills! You will also have the opportunity to brainstorm and discuss ideas for using the Innovation Zone/equipment to support student learning in the courses you are teaching.
Each workshop focuses on one piece of equipment (3D printing, Vinyl Cutting or Laser Cutting and Engraving). To fit your summer schedule, we are offering each workshop three different times: once in May, once in June and once in July.
3D printing - Tuesday May 13, June 10, or July 15
Vinyl Cutting - Wednesday May 14, June 11, or July 16
Laser Cutting and Engraving - Thursday May 15, June 12, or July 17
All workshops will run from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Our hope is that your introduction to the Innovation Zone this summer will lead to great opportunities for you and for your students in the upcoming academic year.
