UNIQUE. DEDICATED. PASSION-DRIVEN.

“Explore your passions fearlessly and zealously. Reach out and ask as many questions as possible to a professor with research that interests them. If you aren’t sure about what your passion is, speak to an advisor or professor you feel comfortable with and who can lead you towards the direction that is best suited for you. Join clubs to meet people in different fields and also to learn from others and in the process hopefully learn about yourself.”

Favourite Class: Field Botany

What makes my uLethbridge experience unique?

  • With guidance from my professors, I have had the opportunity to attend multiple conferences and workshops relevant to the environmental field

  • I have successfully completed both an independent study and an applied study in my area of interest

  • I am currently doing a co-op with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, working in environmental chemistry

  • I was the first student to work on and present the University of Lethbridge Campus Ecology project, which is a project that aims to re-introduce native prairie species on campus, as well as to create a more sustainable campus

  • Following advice from professors, a U of L advisor, and staff, I’ve been able to explore my passion for both science and the liberal arts
