LPIRG invites public to AGM

The Lethbridge Public Interest Research Group (LPIRG) will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, Apr. 13 at 7 p.m. in Galileo's Gallery.

All University of Lethbridge undergraduates who have not had their LPIRG fee reimbursed are members of LPIRG, have voting privileges and are invited to attend. All members of the public are also welcome to attend.

On the agenda for this year's AGM will be: a presentation of the annual report and financial statement; LPIRG grant recipient presentations; a short discussion of LPIRG projects; entertainment and refreshments.

The LPIRG board of directors will consider additions to the AGM agenda of any other matters concerning LPIRG's activities provided that the matter is brought, in writing, to the attention of the board for consideration at least seven days prior to the AGM.

LPIRG is a student-funded, student-directed, non-profit organization providing resources for students to engage with environmental and social justice issues. LPIRG provides funding for undergraduate research, projects, events, and working groups in the public interest. LPIRG also facilitates opportunities for skills development through educational events, public campaigns and partnerships with community organizations.
