Boudreau appointed as Acting Dean, Faculty of Management

The University of Lethbridge has appointed Dr. Robert Boudreau as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management.

Dr. Robert Boudreau has served as the U of L’s Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President (Academic) for the last six years and is a 32-year member of the Faculty of Management.

Boudreau has served as the U of L’s Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President (Academic) for the last six years and is a 32-year member of the Faculty of Management, holding a variety of academic positions within the University including Professor, Assistant Dean, Director, Acting Dean of Graduate Studies and Assistant Vice-President (Academic).

“Bob has provided exceptional service to the U of L and has undertaken critical leadership roles at the U of L in key strategic areas, including academic quality assurance and Campus Alberta partnerships,” says University President and Vice Chancellor Dr. Mike Mahon.

“Given the timing of this recommendation and the need for leadership for the Faculty of Management, it is absolutely necessary to appoint an Acting Dean until such time that a successful search for a Dean is realized. I have full confidence Dr. Boudreau will provide outstanding leadership to the Faculty for the next three years and will position the Faculty well for the future.”

Boudreau will begin his appointment as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management on July 1, 2015. An internal search process has commenced to fill Boudreau’s current role as Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President (Academic).
