Condolence Notice — John (Jack) Oviatt

The University extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and former colleagues of Jack Oviatt, who passed away March 18 at the age of 87.

Originally from Cardston, Oviatt attended the University of Alberta at Calgary after completing a mission in South Africa. He taught school for a couple of years before becoming an admissions officer at his alma mater. When he heard about the University of Lethbridge being established and needing a registrar, he applied.

Condolence notice — Lois Frank

The University of Lethbridge expresses its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Lipamaqnihkiaaki (Singing Across Water) Lois Frank, who passed away Feb. 12, 2025, at the age of 69.
