Library Hours | Intersession & Canada Day: June 22 – July 7

During the intersession period (June 22 – July 7), the Library's hours of operation will be as follows:

  • June 22 – 26: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • June 27 – 28: CLOSED
  • June 29 – 30: 8am – 4:30pm
  • July 1: CLOSED [Canada Day]
  • July 2 – 3: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • July 4 – 5: CLOSED
  • July 6: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • July 7: CLOSED

The Library will return to its regular summer semester hours of operation on Wednesday, July 8. For a complete overview of Library hours, click here.

Library Headcounts | June 7 – 13

From Sunday, June 7th to Saturday, June 13th, student assistants (you may see them with clipboards) will be performing headcounts in the Library. The counts are to determine how many people are in the Library spaces and computer resources in use during the designated count times. No other information is being collected.

Glenna Westwood Retirement ~ June 15, 2015

In celebration of Professional Librarian Glenna Westwood ‘s Retirement (June 2015) ~ please come to her “Farewell” reception on Monday, JUNE 15, 2015 between 2:00– 4:30pm in the University Theatre Lobby (Centre for the Arts).   Refreshments will be served with a Cash Bar.

Library Cleaning and Collection Shifting Notice

In early May, Library staff will begin a project to clean and shift the collections shelved on Levels 9 and Level 10 (north).

Please be aware that the project involves the use of vacuum cleaners, so nearby study areas may be affected by the associated noise. Signage will be placed in the areas that are immediately affected.

We apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused.

Library Summer Hours Begin May 6th

Starting May 6th, the Library will begin its summer hours of operation, which are as follows:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 12 – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday:  1 – 5 p.m.

During the intersession period between the spring and summer semesters (April 29 – May 6), the Library’s hours are as follows:

  • Wednesday (April 29): 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday–Friday (April 30 – May 1): 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday – Sunday (May 2 – 3): CLOSED
  • Monday – Tuesday (May 4 – 5): 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
