Summer Cleaning and Collection Shifting

In early May, Library staff will begin a project to clean and shift the collections shelved on Levels 9 and Level 10 (south). Please be aware that the project involves the use of vacuum cleaners, so nearby study areas may be affected by the associated noise.

Signage will be placed in the areas that are immediately affected.

We apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused.

EndNote Combined Workshop | May 7; 1–3 p.m.; L950

EndNote is citation management software which can help you manage, organize and use your research literature. It integrates with Microsoft Word (and selected other word processing software) so that you can "cite-while-you-write" using your choice of citation styles. EndNote is available for both Windows and Mac computers. We will be using the latest version in the Windows/PC environment with Microsoft Word.

Library Stress-Free Zone: April 8–16, 2019

Feeling stressed? Need a study break? Come to the Library's Stress-Free Zone. Relax, enjoy free coffee and snacks, play a game, watch a movie, or just chill out!

What else will you find: colouring books, the Lego table, and new games and puzzles! We hope to see you there!

Library Extended Hours: March 29 – April 16

For your studying convenience, the Library's extended hours run from Friday, March 29 until Tuesday, April 16. During that time, the hours will be as follows:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Saturday – Sunday: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.

The Library will begin its intersession hours on Wednesday, April 17. For a complete calendar of the Library's hours, click here.

CANCELLED | Project Sandbox: So you were told to take a picture: How to use a DSLR camera and compose a photograph | March 29; 9–11 a.m.

CANCELLED: Our apologies but this Project Sandbox session has been cancelled.

Attendees will learn how to use a DSLR camera and how to properly compose a photograph. No prior experience necessary.
