As the title suggests, there will be a cash bar to go along with drawing activities. The event will have a loose theme to give a starting point, however, people can also simply come for some social art-making.

Materials are provided or bring your own. All experience levels welcome.

If you are attracted to the colour blue, this activity is made for you! We will explore painting in the Delft Dutch decorative tradition. Come and create stories from your real or imagined life in blue and white.

The Art Gallery invites all University staff to join us in the Main Gallery (W600) on September 17 from 9 – 10:30 am to enjoy treats and beverages and take in our latest exhibition "Douglas Walker: Other Worlds".

Douglas Walker’s stunningly gorgeous, mostly monochromatic blue paintings on paper reference both historical fine art illustration and the graphic production strategies found in ‘outsider art’ and tattoo culture.

This exhibition features a selection from the U of L Art Gallery’s outstanding holding of Canadian and international Pop Art including works by Patrick Caulfield, Andy Warhol, and Joyce Wieland.
