Tony Montina (BSc ’08, MSc ’10) has been appointed interim director, Science Commons Academic Operations, effective October 1 for a period of nine months. He will act as a liaison between science faculty/staff and Science Facilities to support the operationalization of Science Commons. This will involve working on key initiatives related to the implementation of shared/common and core research facilities, as well as space planning related to both teaching and research needs.

Between November 12-15 there will be work happening in W7M48 to prepare for installation of a new dust collector for the W840 workspace. Contractors will be coring a hole and installing an electrical service which could cause some intermittant noise disruptions to adjacent spaces.
