Condolence Notice — Paul Rusznak

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Paul Rusznak, who passed away April 5 at the age of 87.

Rusznak served on the University Senate from 2001 to 2007. He was born and raised in southern Alberta, moving from Monarch to Lethbridge when he was a young boy. His career included working at Black’s Men’s Wear, eventually becoming co-owner. After he sold the business in the mid-1980s, Rusznak became a salesman at College Ford, a career he excelled at.

The Library’s Easter Weekend hours will be as follows:

  • Friday, April 15: CLOSED [Good Friday]
  • Saturday and Sunday, April 16 to 17: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, April 18: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. [Easter Monday]

Motorcycle Parking

Starting May 1, 2022, patrons are required to hold a valid ULethbridge parking permit or purchase a motorcyle parking permit for $40 per semester to park within the motorcycle designated areas on campus.

To obtain a motorcycle parking permit, please contact Campus Mobility Services by emailing parking@uleth.ca with the following information:

- Your ID number

- License plate number and province

- Make, model and year of your motorcycle

Your license plate is now your permit.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Asbestos Abatement within University Hall Level 6

Please be advised that on April 6 & 7, an asbestos removal will be conducted in University Hall level 6 (C610, C620, C630, C640, D631, D632, E630, E640 & E646). Rooms will be closed for remediation and will be cleared after each room has been completed. Spaces will be inaccessible during the actual abatement and marked with signage.
