Monsters, Bandits and Prostitutes in Latin American Cinema - HPST3800/SPAN3850

In this course we will watch a collection of old and new movies to explore the connection between monsters, bandits and prostitutes in Latin American cinema. There is no need to have any previous experience with film studies or knowledge of Spanish, just an interest in seeing Latin American cultures from the perspective of its filmmakers.
