New Courses - Travel for Credit to Tacloban City, Philippines, WGST 3020 and WGST 3850

A pair of new courses are being offered for summer 2015 study that will take students to Tacloban City, Philippines.

WGST 3020 and WGST 3850 offer students the opportunity to travel for credit. Each course includes on-site lectures and activities, community tours, intensive study on global gender intersections and the chance to examine the geography, religion and culture of Tacloban City.

Pre-requisites for the courses include: third-year standing; WGST 1000; WGST 2600 or WGST 2700 or related courses with evaluation from the instructor.

Tentative travel dates for the courses are from June 20 to July 20, 2015.
