Biology 4170: Plant Biotechnology 

This course provides lecture, seminar and laboratory study of plant molecular biology and opportunities for biotechnological applications for crop plants in agriculture, horticulture and forestry.

Prerequisite(s): Biology 3210 AND one of Biology 3000 or Biology 3005

Recommended Background: Biology 3460

 

Note: the Instructor would be willing to waive Biology 3210 if students have the following: Biology 3400 OR relevant experience from Co-op work term/independent study

 

This course runs September 7 – December 5

Lecture: TR 10:50 – 12:05 pm | W767

Lab: W 1:00 – 3:50 pm | HH120
