On March 12, 2020, the Alberta Government recommended the cancellation of events over 250 people and any event of 50-250 people that didn’t allow for proper risk mitigation, including social distancing.

For this reason, the final talk in the 2019/20 PUBlic Professor Series season has been cancelled. Dr. MacKenzie’s talk will be rescheduled in 2020/21. In the coming months, we will release next year’s schedule. Please visit ulethbridge.ca/artsci/publicprofessor to watch videos from our first six years. Alternatively, you can catch the talks at 2 pm daily on Shaw Lethbridge.

In addition, our much-anticipated Celebration of Academic Excellence event has been cancelled. To all students who made the Dean’s List during 2019, we offer you our most sincere congratulations and best wishes for your continued success.
