Elevated Risk Level for travel to Niger

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

Following the 26 July military coup in Niger, International SOS as the UL Service Provider assesed and communicated that conditions are potentially unsafe for our travelers to remain in country and continue their normal activities. Currently, borders, airspace and airports remain closed; however, if you are travelling in this location or know someone who is for university buisness, academic or research and evacuation is desired, please contact International SOS if you have not done so already, to discuss options.

When contacting International SOS (ISOS) for evacuation support, they will make their best effort as they work through various challenges like airspace, airport and border closures, flight cancellations, and declines in infrastructure to get you to the nearest safe haven. It is recommended you do this as soon as possible.

Call the ISOS Philadelphia Assistance Center Scholastic Dedicated Line: (1) (215) 942 8478 and quote the UL membership number found HERE.
