The University of Lethbridge AGILITY program is launching an AGILITY Innovation Zone Design Competition to create a vibrant and unique place for students to gather and work on early-stage projects. AGILITY is inviting undergraduate and graduate students to submit a design for room M2039 in Markin Hall. The winning design will be used to reinvent this room.
The space will be a designated place for students to work on their projects, meet with potential collaborators, clients, investors and mentors, and should feel like a professional environment rather than a generic bookable space. AGILITY wants the space to be exclusive to groups that have applied or are working on a sponsored project, and it will be a card accessed room.
PRIZE:
The winner(s) will:
- Receive a $500 cash prize
- Be recognized on a name plaque to be displayed in the innovation zone
WHAT IS AN INNOVATION ZONE?
An Innovation Zone is an open concept workspace where student innovators can gather to create, invent, explore and discover. It’s a development environment where you can share resources, build on knowledge, work on projects, and network with mentors to create outcomes that may provide social, cultural or economic value. It is an incubator where ideas become reality.
