Are you thinking of applying to a Bachelor of Science or Masters of Science in Computer Science at the University of Lethbridge? The Niitsitapi Research Pod is awarding a $3000 entrance stipend to three eligible Blackfoot students to support your studies!
Application eligibility:
- You are a member of a Blackfoot nation*
- You plan to apply to a BSc – Computer Science program
at the University Lethbridge** - You plan to be registered as a full-time student
(three 3-credit courses each term) - You are willing to participate in Niitsitapi Pod events
Conditions of funding:
Successful applicants will become part of the Niitsitapi research Pod at the UofL — and will be required to attend 1 of our events per month over the course of your first year. Receipt of the stipend is contingent on enrollment in the BSc Program at the University of Lethbridge. Students who are not accepted into the BSc program are no longer eligible. Proof of enrollment must be provided with the ‘Verification of Enrolment’ letter.
The stipend will be paid in two parts:
→ $1500 at the start of the Fall 2025 term
→ $1500 at the start of the Winter 2026 term
