Get your share of $2,500! 5 prizes of $500 each will be presented to qualifying students who attend Career Fair 2017. September 20, 2017 10AM-3PM.
In celebration of uLethbridge’s 50th Anniversary, Counselling and Career Services will offer a total of $2,500 prizes to 5 students who meet the expectations of our Career Fair exhibitors. As a student, it is important that you leave a lasting impression with our exhibitors. The best way to do this is to engage in “meaningful interactions” with them.
Here are some samples of "meaningful interactions" for you to consider when interacting with exhibitors:
- Present yourself in a professional manner - introduce yourself, shake hands, make eye contact and ask questions
- Try to find out more about the company
- Find out if there are employment opportunities with the company, especially for students in your major/area of studies
- Bring and present your resume; make sure that this is up-to-date and has been reviewed by a Career Advisor
How to qualify:
Once you have marks from at least 5 exhibitors in your career fair student guide booklet you will be eligible for our UL50 Tuition Prize draw. You must return to our registration table to have your entry verified. Once verified, you will be entered for your chance to win 1 of 5, $500 prizes.
The connections you make at Career Fair 2017 are invaluable... and this year, they may also win you $500!
