En Plein Air Artists & Friends:
The University of Lethbridge invites you to join EN PLEIN AIR 2017 and the 4th annual Coutts Centre Arts Festival at the Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage near Nanton:
Coutts Centre Arts Festival Hours 11am – 4pm
featuring: live music:
- 11am – S. Alberta Trombone Collective
- Noon – The Groove Apostles
- 1pm – Joe Porter and Dale Ketcheson
2pm: Shakespeare in the Garden: “A Comedy of Errors”
All Day: family art activities, self-guided Garden Tours, Donald Lawrence’s Camera Obscura pavilion.
En Plein Air Hours 10am – 5pm
All day to draw, paint, sculpt, photograph, compose, design, yoga, meditate and/or picnic….with friends, family, and fellow artists. The gardens are even more spectacular this year! Check out the all new raised-bed vegetable gardens installed this spring, beside the Chickenhouse.
Enjoy Jim Coutt’s extraordinary homestead and gardens and check out the latest upgrades and additions that Coutts Centre staff have made to this beautiful property!
Brown’s Catering, of Nanton, will be on-site in the new catering kitchen, offering:
- Sunday Brunch, 10am – 1pm
- BarBQue classics, noon – 4pm
- Legendary homemade pies and desserts, all-day
