Keynote Speaker - Dr. Bryan Kolb
Dr. Kolb is renowned as an inspirational teacher who has mentored generations of students and researchers here at the University of Lethbridge Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience. As a Neuroscientist, Dr. Kolb truly does teach his research having written “the” neuropsychology textbook for use by his students. Join us as he shares his rich teaching experience.
There are sixteen different sessions available.
Spark includes presentations, workshops, and round-tables from instructors from various departments across campus. Sessions will cover topics such as peer-based teaching, the first-year-experience, on-line and blended learning, engagement through extra-curricular competitions, Aboriginal ways of knowing and learning, information literacy and more. Regardless of how long you have been teaching in higher education, there is something for everyone to explore.
