New Library System Coming Soon | Transition Starts April 23

It’s almost time — the new Library system you’ve (hopefully) been hearing about is almost here!

Important things for users to be aware of before the transition starts on April 23 include: 

  • Moodle links to the “classic” catalogue or Summon (discovery layer) will not work, so URLs will have to be recreated after go-live in the new system. Direct links to external databases will still work.
  • Physical interlibrary loans (ILL) will be unavailable from April 23 to June 23. Electronic ILLs will remain uninterrupted.
  • Holds will not be accepted from April 23 to April 29.
  • Any existing saved searches and lists in the catalogue or Summon will not move over, so be sure to record those to recreate them in the new system. Your loan/reading history will not be retained, so export the history before April 23.

The new system will be live on April 29.
